Vevo blog added an interesting page today where it explains exactly what Vevo is about. Check What is Vevo. Some interesting things are that besides professional music videos they will also have concerts, original web series, artist-generated videos, and curated user-generated videos, which means Vevo has big potential to become the largest music comunity on the net. Unfortunatly we still don’t know when Vevo will be launch exactly and when Vevo invites will be available, but once we have more news you will read it here first!

Monday, June 8th, 2009Sony will be part of Vevo! Besides putting in cash, they will also will join the site with their entire music video catalog. This is great news. Now let’s hope Warner and EMI will follow as well and Vevo has the potential to become the best music video entertainment site. As soon as the site is launched in beta we will let you know all about how and where to get your Vevo invites. The site is planned to launch in Q4 of 2009.
